This privacy policy applies to the Where's The Exit? app (the "Application") for mobile devices, offered by the Service Provider. The Application is free to download and play and is supported solely by advertising delivered through Google AdMob. The Application also uses Google Firebase (including analytics features) to understand how the game is used, monitor stability and performance, and help improve the game. There are no in-app purchases, no paid unlock, no subscriptions, and no third-party payment or entitlement services (such as subscription or purchase SDKs) in the Application as described in this policy. The service is provided "AS IS".
Advertising (Google AdMob)
The Application uses Google AdMob to show ads. Google may collect and process data to serve and measure ads, including identifiers associated with your device, general location derived from IP address, app usage in connection with ads, and similar technical data. How Google uses this information is governed by Google's policies, not by this page alone.
- AdMob & data (Google Help)
- Google Privacy Policy
Where your device or operating system offers choices (for example, limiting ad tracking or resetting advertising identifiers), you may use those settings in addition to uninstalling the Application.
Analytics (Google Firebase)
The Application uses Google Firebase to collect analytics and diagnostic information. This helps the Service Provider see aggregate patterns such as which levels or features are used, how often the app is opened, and technical signals related to performance and crashes (for example crash reports). The goal is to keep the game stable and to decide what to improve next.
Firebase processes data according to Google's terms and privacy documentation. It may use identifiers associated with your device and technical information similar to that described in the "Information collection and use" section below.
Information collection and use
The Application may collect or process information when you download and use it. This may include, for example:
- Your device's Internet Protocol (IP) address
- Information about how you use the Application (such as screens or features used, session length)
- Device and operating system type, language, and similar technical details
The Application does not require you to create an account to play.
The Application does not gather precise GPS or continuous real-time location from your device for the Service Provider's own use.
The Application does not use Artificial Intelligence (AI) inside the app to process your personal data or to provide gameplay features. (Tools used during development are separate from data processing inside the shipped Application.)
If you email the Service Provider, they will use your email address and message content only to respond to you and for related support or legal obligations, not for unrelated marketing unless you have agreed to that separately.
Third party access
The Service Provider may share information with service providers who assist in operating the Application, subject to appropriate safeguards. Google processes data through AdMob and Firebase as described in Google's policies linked in the sections above.
Third-party services used for advertising, analytics, and related app functionality may include:
The Service Provider may disclose information:
- As required by law, such as to comply with a subpoena or similar legal process;
- When they believe in good faith that disclosure is necessary to protect rights, safety, or to investigate fraud or abuse;
- With processors who work on their behalf under contract, without independent use of the data beyond providing the service.
Opt-out rights
You can stop collection of information associated with use of the Application by uninstalling it, using your device's standard uninstall process. You can also use device and platform ad-privacy and analytics-related settings where available (options vary by platform and version).
Data retention
The Service Provider retains information only as long as reasonably needed to operate the Application, comply with law, and resolve disputes. Data processed by Google for advertising and analytics is subject to Google's retention practices as described in Google's policies.
If you have contacted the Service Provider by email and wish to request deletion of that correspondence, contact info@wherestheexit.com.
Children
The Service Provider does not knowingly use the Application to solicit personal information from children under 13 or to direct behavioural advertising at them in violation of applicable rules.
If you are a parent or guardian and believe your child has provided personal information through the Application, contact info@wherestheexit.com so appropriate steps can be taken.
Security
The Service Provider takes reasonable measures designed to protect information handled in connection with the Application, within the limits of typical consumer mobile software.
Changes
This Privacy Policy may be updated from time to time. The Service Provider will post the updated policy on this page. Continued use of the Application after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy, to the extent permitted by law.
This privacy policy is effective as of 2026-04-04.
